Breakfast and After-School Club
Breakfast Club runs daily from 8am – 8.50am and costs £3.50 per child per session.
Children will be offered a light, healthy breakfast consisting of cereals/cereal bars and this will run either in the school hall or in our wraparound club room. At the end of the breakfast club, children will be escorted by the breakfast club staff to the front playground to join their classes to line up to start the school day.
After-school Club runs daily from 3.30pm – 5.30pm costs £6.50 per child per session.
Children are offered a healthy snack from a range of cold foods, these vary each day. During the club, children have access to a wide range of activities both inside and outside. Provision varies from day to day and we encourage children to experience a range of activities.
Children may be collected at any time from the after-school club but the full cost of the session will still apply and no refunds will be available.
Payment and Booking
Parents/carers can book their children into the clubs through the online payment system – SchoolMoney. Payment needs to be made at the time of booking and no child will be able to attend unless a pre-booking and payment has been made. Parents/carers are able to book ad hoc to suit your childcare needs. We understand that you may require certain days and times one week but may need something different another, we can accommodate this.
In order to attend the clubs, bookings must be made by midnight the previous night, where the booking link will then close.
Parents/carers will be able to book sessions in advance. However, if the maximum number of children attending is reached then a place will not be available to book so we suggest booking in advance where possible.
Dropping off and Collection
The entrance to the clubs is through the side gate on the school carpark. which leads to the back of the school. For the breakfast club, staff open the gate at 8am and escort children into school. All children must be dropped off by 8.10am at the latest. Children/parents should not gather on the car park before 8am.
For the after-school club, children can be collected from the same side gate on the car park. There is a doorbell on the gate that parents should ring which will notify staff that you are here to collect your child. Staff will then bring children to meet parents at the gate. Under no circumstances should parents enter the site through this gate. All children must be collected from the club and no child will be allowed to walk home alone at the end.
All children MUST be collected by 5.30pm at the latest and further details of late collection fees can be found in the Wraparound Care Policy.
Parents are NOT allowed to use the staff car park to drop off or collect their children from the clubs at any time. Parents are expected to park outside of the school grounds and walk onto the school site to collect their children.
